SFC 51 Error Code

Eldorado Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me with an error code. I'm trying to use SFC 51 in OB 82 to catch wire breaks on my analog input modules. I don't have my hardware right now so I'm testing with PLCSIM. When I trigger a diagnostic interupt in PLCSIM, I'm not getting any data from the SZL_HEADER or the DR outputs. I'm using 00B3 for the SZL_ID input. The RET_VAL from the SFC 51 block is 878A. I've figured out that this is a general error associated with the seventh block parameter, but I can't find anything in the documentation on the 8A part of the error code. Any help on interpretting this error code would be appreciated. If you have any tips or examples on evaluating wire break diagnostics, I'd be happy to hear those as well. Thanks.

Eldorado Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Thanks for the response. I have seen that note as well. But I also noticed that the SFC 51 example in the documentation shows the block being called with 00B3 in OB82. That's a little confusing. I was able to fix my initial problem. I had specified a data block for the DR output. I changed that to an array inside a data block and it worked fine.
