STEP7 v5.6 installation

I received a pc with Win10 Home operating system, with Step7 v5.6 + TIA15.1 installed. But both package had some problem (for example, plcsim did not work). I have decided to remove both software and try to re-install. Due to the problem of Win10 Home, the step7 setup refused to work. So, i have update the win10 from home to Pro. Then, the setup of Step7 and TIA15 was ok, and TIA15.1 work ok, but Step7 have problem with Automation License Manager, and refuse to start. And obviously, it is not possible for me, for example, to use the plc proxy for making new panels with TIA15. The question is, is it possible to re-install the ALM of Step7 as a "stand-alone" package without having conflict with both software? Thanks in advance.

I tried many time to de-install TIA15 and Step7 and then retry the installation. In my opinion, the procedure of de-install a Siemens package leave too much file in the pc (about 3-4 GB for both packets) and too much keys in the registry. Without talking about the Sql Server! I suppose i will have to re-format my pc and restart from scratch. Ok, a work for Christmas' Holydays... Attachment screenshot.1.png (653 Downloads)

As far as i know V5.6 is not compatible with windows 10 if an older setup is used.
