V18 Installation error

mmhamunkar Advanced Member Joined: 9/29/2014 Last visit: 10/4/2025 Posts: 10 Rating: (3)	Hi, I am have installed the TIA Portal V17 Professional software on the laptop and it gets installed successfully without any issue. But After uninstalling TIA Portal V17, when I am trying to installed the TIA Portal V18 Professional Version, the installation gets terminated with summary report. In summary report it says that "incompatible version of SQL native Client is installed. Please review the summary.txt logs for further details." Even my "microsoft edge" is also Updated to latest version. I also tried to Install SQL Setup seperately but when I am trying to install the SQL2019 or SQL 2022 seperately, the installation gets fail. Please guide me how to resolve this issue. I have resolved the issue related to SQL and able to successfully install the TIA V18. Following is the procedure I have followed : 1. From Control Panel of the laptop I came to know about the SQL services which were still there though I uninstall TIA V17. 2. I tried to removed those SQL Services from Laptop--> Setting--> App--> SQL. Some service able to removed successfully and some services as shown in fig1 were not able to removed. 3. So by using command prompt I was able to remove those remaining SQL Service.
