Hi,

I'm trying to make an FB with an InOut using dynamic array limits, I know you can do this using Array[*} Of xxx

However on a 1515F it doesnt seem to work with TIA18, why is this? I have done it with 1511 and a 1200 before.

The error I get is "An Array with Dynamic Limits is not supported by the current target".

No its just a standard FB, not in a software unit.

which firmware does the cpu have itself and which firmware the cpu is configured with in the TIA project?
Is the block used in a software unit?

Because there may be dependencies.

thats the reason.

Dynamic array is only supported up from firmware V2.x of S7-1500.

Availability of ARRAY[*]

ARRAY[*] is available in optimized blocks for a CPU of the S7-1200 series as of firmware version >= 4.2, and for a CPU of the S7-1500 series as of firmware version >= 2.0. 

As this is also an "old" CPU, there is no firmware update to V2.x available.
