SIMIT No compatible TIA Openness found

Looking at setting up a simulation in SIMIT Demo Using TIA Portal V16 and When I go to select the project to use for Coupling via PLCSim Advanced 3.0, I get the message "No Compatible TIA Openness found".

I looked for the manuals etc, regarding where this would be installed and how to find it but after digging I see that i installed it when I set up TIA portal

All the help I can find regarding openness is in developing Openness tools through Visual studio which isnt what I'm looking for.

Can anyone help please?

V10.0 + UPD3.

I thought I'd downloaded the latest one - Do I have to uninstall and install again?

That's sorted it for me.  Even though I have Windows 8 it installed and seems to work fine (issues I'm having right now are more associated with the limits of my machinery rather than installation and connections etc.)

Me too.  Probably because I also have Tia v17 installed. I tried to fix simit 10.2 but still it doesn't work. I tried to fix TiaV16 again and it's fine   Siemens is very powerful.
