Sharing experiences with the latest TIA version you use

Bleeding edge, sure in the lab. Absolutely not in production. Therefore I would be grateful if you want to share your experience with the latest TIA version you use. Here's mine:

Coming from 'stable' V12/13 and more or less skipped the rest I'm still at V16 as most 'lightweight', 'stable' and bearable version. No compelling reasons to mv to higher versions.

Only file-xrw instructions & more memory from new fw would be nice. Backwards compatibility of firmware to TIA version seems really good, till it isn't any more.  But against is the insane amount of time wasted to set up a w10/11 vm and stability testing (resource consumption of TIA).

Doing only 1200 w et200sp, no hmi. Using TIA only as a configurator/compiler/downloader in a completely minimal tuned w7. This more or less because of TIA resource usage (stability and speed). That works, is insane but I never want to risk my projects from the experiences I had with V11 where the only way to repair the project was using LibreOffice to im/export the corrupted tag tables!

Why only 1200? All brands have their pros and cons on sw/hw/ide. But the 1200 is a very capable, st/scl lang and cost effective control and communication piece. Especially combined with the et200sp. The rest of Siemens is still blocked by my hate-love TIA experience and bit of costs/project size.

Please share yours. Maybe >16 is better?
