I have no idea how SIEMENS plans to develop TIA further, however it does not make sense tomaintain so many different product lines ( Hardware and software ) with similar functionality. With arrival of S7-1200 , we already have announcement of discontinuation of S7-200 . Once S7-1500 is fully developed and stable, it will be only a matter of time before S7-300 is discontinued. What will happen to S7-400 / PCS7 / FM 458 .... only time will tell. Cheers Navnag

Usab Posts: 33 Rating: (4)	Hello , In the new orgnization of Siemens, PCS7 and S7-400 are the responsibility of Division PD. I think TIAP will generally be a DF divisionplatform, that is why I think PCS7 will not come in. But eventually I think we will have CFC in TIAP because there will still be use cases in factory automation, hopefully we will see the first CFC in TIAP in V14. Usab
