TIA v18, Windows 11 and VMWare: cannot find the new PLC unit

My old PC with windows 10, Step7 and TIA13 to TIA18 can find compatible devices. But my New PC with Windows 11 on and a VMWare with windows 10 cannot find the new PLC unit until it gets an IP address. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from TIA Portal not being able to find PLC with "accessible devices" utility.

These must not be blocked due to security settings/firewalls/domain policies e.g. For example this is can be blocked in some security software like Symantec Endpoint Protection. regards sancruz
