unable to open a db

I have a Step 7 v5.4 and.... I`m trying to open a DB, but I get the following message:


1.- LAD/STL/FBD (34:13) "Compiler information: Range violation"

2.- LAD/STL/FBD (30:1) "Unable to open the block"

Can help me?

Hello,

Is this DB was created by you or are you trying to open an existing DB. Perhaps your data types and data ranges of the program and in DB, may crash. So before open compile the project. If it was uploaded project or other project try with save project with reorganization.

Also there may be possibility some thing wrong with your step 7 software perhaps it will be ok after updating or reinstallation your software.
