mathieu_s67 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi. Just got TIA portal v19 and need to upload from s7-1500, v15.1...do i need to instal TIA portal V15.1 on my laptop,or it is backwards compatible? Thanks.

However, just to save you potential frustration, if you experience problems with V19 after installing V15.1, perform a "Repair" of the V19 install. If that fixes V19, it is all good. Otherwise, you will want to uninstall V19 and reinstall it. You will likely want to bookmark the V19 release and download page, and perhaps configure your browser to notify you should that page change (using a plug-in or other tool). This tip is free but should be sold as it is invaluable if you are working on the bleeding edge of software and hardware capabilities and absolutely need some device to work in V19 but it is not yet supported. mathieu_s67 Hi.
