first of all, this is not VBA its VBS

if you are using WinCC Professional Runtime then you should use this syntx for wrinting and reading tags:

then you should try to read out the tag values at beginning of your script and write them in scriptinternal tags. then work with them and at the end write them out again if needed.

The goal is to reduce the Tags access (this takes time)

I would lookup the texts when starting the Runtime and write them to a Recordset and then search that Recordset for the string.
