Update Modules

When you type the part # in the search box above the hardware catalog, are you saying it does not find anything close?  FYI, search for 6ES7151-3BA instead of the exact part #.  It very well may be the newer module requires you to use it as a "Spare part compatible" part # where the 23 could be replaced with *3 or 2*. 

Look up the this part # to see the lowest TIA Portal version to support it. 

If the module datasheet states the lowest version of TIA Portal is higher than the version you are using, you need to use the predecessor in the portal project as noted on the datasheet - and the actual part in the physical hardware.

I installed the Complete package but I still did n't found the module 6es7 132-4bd01-0aa0 in the cataloge, kindly which file exactly I should install? Note that I'm using IO ET200s (6ES7 151-3BA23-0AB0)

Since that module EOL in 2011, it will not be available in TIA Portal.

The datatshseet for the module states:

 I did not understand you exactly but it seems I did n't explain my issue clearly, simply I want to install (6ES7 132-4BD01-0AA0) to HW cataloge becuase it's not installed already

Steps to get the answers:

1. Click-drag mouse and highlight each part # below
2. Right-click on highlighted part #.  
3. Select (wording depends on your browser) Search web for ...
4. Look in search results for Siemens Industry Mall in the URL and click it
5. Find the datasheet link and click it
6. Scroll down to find what Engineering software is required
   1. If the part is EOL now, or was EOL prior to ~2014, you might find no version of Portal is available
   2. Note the portal version
   3. If there is a "successor" or see a note that this module supersedes a previous version of the module, you may be able to configure Portal using the older part # (however, in your situation recycling 13 year old modules, this is not likely to apply to your project)

Once you do this one time, I strongly doubt you will need to refer to the steps again.
