When one says "a sequence" I always hear "a state machine". On a sketch what could be concluded from your description. The place to start from regarding implementation of the state machine concept. |

Search these forums and this support site for ways to implement state machines in PLC logic. I tend to use SCL for it, but LAD/FBD works just fine. Some might say Graph might be a natural fit, but then you are not able to transfer a graph state machine to an s7-1200 PLC if a smaller system is needed on future projects.
