Managing Activation Sequence of Three Sensors for Output Control

I'm seeking some guidance on managing the activation sequence of three sensors for a project I'm working on. Here's the scenario: I have Three sensors, let's call them Sensor 1 , Sensor 2 and Sensor 3. All sensors are crucial for determining two outputs, but I need to ensure that the outputs are only set under specific conditions.

Here's the scenario:

Output 1 should be set only if Sensor 1 and Sensor 2 are active simultaneously for a specific duration (let's say 750ms). However, if Sensor 1 or Sensor 2 becomes active before the other, by let’s say 200ms. Output 1 should not be set.

To clarify:

• If Sensor 1 is activated 200ms before Sensor 2, Output 1 should not be set.
• If Sensor 2 is activated 200ms before Sensor 1, Output 1 should not be set.
• Output 1 should only be set if both Sensor 1 and Sensor 2 are active simultaneously for the specified duration.
  
  

This logic should also apply for Sensor 2 + Sensor 3, and Sensor 3 + Sensor 1. 

I've attached the current test program for reference.

I'm seeking suggestions and advice on how to effectively implement this logic. Any insights or guidance would be highly appreciated.

When one says "a sequence" I always hear "a state machine".

On a sketch what could be concluded from your description.

The place to start from regarding implementation of the state machine concept.

 This reply actually helped me change my thought process a lot.

I got some new ideas now, but I will have to do some reading and testing to figure out how to implement them.
