Upload error from ET 200SP Open Controller, CPU 1515SP PC2

AutoGen_861340 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Does anyone know how to upload a project from a ET 200SP Open Controller, CPU 1515SP PC2? The part number on the device is 6ES7677DB400AA0 but the software package that came with it has the part number 6ES76772WB420GB0. When I try to upload i get the following error: "The selected object PLC (122.122.5.1) cannot be uploaded from the device. Action cancelled before upload" Using V16 There does not appear to be an option for adding an UNSPECIFIED ET 200SP Open Controller.

Cocolino Silver Member Joined: 4/8/2021 Last visit: 1/7/2026 Posts: 642 Rating: (114)	Hi, As you said that you are using TIA Portal V16, did you check that the CPU was programmed also with TIA Portal V16? This is a must when uploading project from the CPU, I mean the same version used for downloading must be used for uploading. I would also check that all the modules are available in your TIA Portal HW catalog and install the HSP if needed.
