PLC data types

in the library available at the source you have posted, 9 differnt sub librarys are included.

Which one are we talking about?

FYI, there is a sample application you can download and load into portal and see how everything gets setup and passed around.

hwIndentifier : The PLC SYSTEM CONSTANT (from PLC tag table) for the ethernet interface (like ~Local..... )

connID : some unique # (like 1, 2, 3) to that network connection.  If there are no other network connections in your PLC project, you can use 1.  If 1 is already used, try 2, etc.

ipAddress: In a global DB, create a tag, maybe named SNMP_DevIP, data type IP_V4

Assign "start" values for the sub-components of the IP_V4 tag that match your needs for testing out the library.

localPort is some network port number your PLC will respond to (it's like the "ReplyTo" email address where you can have replies to an email you send sent to a different email address, and allows the remote SNMP device know what network port (service) to reply to at the PLC's IP address.

There are thousands of network ports, many are already pre-assigned for specific services - do an online search for network ports.  Your library may recommend using port values above some relatively high number, like 5000 or something.  Use the same port value Siemens uses in their example application - which will make it easier for others to follow later when they refer to your project's logic and DB tag values and compare with the "reference" Siemens application.

Oh sorry, I forgot to mention.

Its LSNMP library. About this data types, there is something written on the page 96 in documentary. But I am still not sure which values it is expecting.
