How to make Graph recover after a power cycle

I am new to S7-1500 family.Using V15 of Portal Currently working with Graph and I have it working the way I want. The issue I am having now is how to make it recover after a power cycle. If it is any point of the sequence, and the power is turned off. I need this to come back to the last step it was at. I have tried the switching from auto to manual. Setting a value in S_SEL, acknowledge the S_SELOK and then selecting S_ON. Nothing happens. I know it is something simple i am doing wrong.or missing something. Do you have any ideas.
