Yankanchi Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	Hi.. I need to convert some of the values from double integer to string, which is the instruction I can use and how can I assign address in string format. (i.e. if we used double integer the address start like MD, in string format how it’s start) what is formula to convert integer to character ? Yankanchi.

See this link: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/1851190 At the bottom, you see which functions you can use. Also have a look in Step 7 online help, how to use strings. Yankanchi Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	I have a Borries marker machine integrated with Siemens PLC (CPU317). I need to send data to Borries machine only in ASCII format, operator can enter the data from HMI, in integer format i.e. X position 100mm and Y position 60mm like that, so Borries machine can understand the data when the data in ASCII format so i need to convert the data double integer to String
