TIA V17 and PLCSIM v17 Very slow and laggy.

Hi,

New to Siemens.

I am simulating a very small project. When I load it into the simulator and go online, the portal becomes very unresponsive. It will be ok for a short time then "go away" for 10s of seconds before resuming. I have a spinning circle sometime but not always. 

PLCSIM runs at about 14 to 20% of processor power on my I7 laptop.  I have an extra screen connect. Running windows 11. 

Nothing in the task manager is using much CPU time.

WHen it locks up I can find any reason and there are no errors. 

This is very annoying.

Loaded Update 1 and tried again.

I would say it was better but still has times where it just goes away. Almost usable now.

Loaded up V17 Version 5 and Sim Version 1. 

Now looks pretty good.

Didn't find a solution for TIA 17, W10 - plcsim loads one of the processor cores at 100%. This has nothing to do with the processor clock speed - at 2 GHz it works just as well and fast as at 4 GHz. But in both cases it loads the kernel 100%. How to fix it? Thank you!
