Want to put an alarm page in faceplate

Its not as Black&White as you expect!

you can use only alarmClass filters in an WinCC Comfort/Advanced Alarm List or Alarm Window.

If you use a Faceplate then you can use this alarm class definition as an interface to your Faceplate instance but not inside, because you do not have the Alarm Classes inside the Faceplate that you have defined outside in your Project. So you always have to define it outside on the Interface of the Instance.

If you have WinCC Professional Runtime then everything is completly different.....

In WinCC Runtime Professional you cannot use a AlarmControl inside a Faceplate (also not in V19)

Also the Faceplate works a liitle bit different.

If you want to create some kind of Faceplate-like object you can also use screen windows with tag prefix. Here you will have no limits of using controls or other obects and also you can use ressources from outside.

With the screen windows you can also call multiple instances of one screen at the same time or in different screen contexts. With the use of tag prefix and structs or UDTs you can work also with a "kind of interface" (its basically the same as in WinCC V7/8) for having less effort to use more instances of the same screen.
