Configure tp900 both ethernet ports

In TIA portal I set PLC IP xxx.xx.x.2 and HMI station IP as xxx.xx.x.6. the communication is established and data is exchanged perfectly. But the problem is H station has two CPUs and I am only communicating with one of them. The other CPU IP is xxx.xx.x.3. As there are two ethernet ports in TP900 panel I need to know how to use the second port to communicate with second CPU Thanx Mahi

S7 AUTOMAN Posts: 515 Rating: (56)	hi, I dont see any attachments. Moreover these two ports in the comfort panel acts as an integrated switch(with same IP address). There is no point in connecting two cables with the two CPU's independantly(rather it can be used for connecting two redundant ethernet cables). You need to establish two connections from the two CPU's(two IP addresses) to the same panel(Single IP address) which you need to do as per the manual attached above. In other words, the Single IP address(Two integrated port) of the comfort panel needs to communicate with two other CPU's IP ports. Since you can establish only one logical connection from the comfort panel to the CPU in programming you need to have an alternative way to communicate with the standby CPU of the H system. This you can achieve by using the methods described in the manual. Hope this helps
