In Word, how can I check a single bit only on? I must sound the alert if two or more bits are on. how to carry out this.

In Word, how can I check a single bit only on? I must sound the alert if two or more bits are on. how to carry out this.

 Compare the word against zero.. If all bits are false, the word value is zero. So if the word is not equal to zero, one or more of the bits are true.

In word, I need to check the first bit only true; other bits are false, the second bit only true;  remaining 15 bits false, and like that, I need to check.
