Every time I open the project I get an "Invalid Array Tag" error message in FB.

It will be disaster start every day with restartig block on working plant.

Every time I open project my long time used FB (works just fine in 15 and 16) is blasting with "Invalid array tag" errors. I change arrays' name (for example from stMyArray to arMyArray or varMyArray) and delete and retype "]" in every STL FB row there array used. Since it's done it works just fine until I close project and open it again. Since my current project in test stage it's no big deal (expect enraging my every time I do it), but then things start rolling, it would be kinda frustrating for people at the factory, since FB with new tagnames need to be restarted.

Have you tried rebuilding the FB from scratch in portal V16?  If so, what differences did you notice from the original V15->V16 FB?

If you have not tried it, please do. 

Also, if your PLC is not running the latest available firmware, please install the latest PLC firmware and be sure to update the project PLC device to match the highest firmware version available in the hardware catalog (since the very latest firmware version is only available in V18).

 Thanks for reply. No, in 15 and 16 my FB works fine. But in 17 it generate some errors every time I open TIA Portal. No PLC firmware update possible for now, because I'm test it on simulator.

I'm kinda new to PLC programming (no STEP7 experience, start with 15 TIA Portal), but every next version contain more bugs and seriousness of this bugs grows as well, so I'm try to delay with step up to v18)
