TIA v15 - Rename multiple blocs at the same time

Hi,

as far as i know, there is no integrated version for this. A possible solution would be to do this via Openness.

TIA Openness Scripter to export all ~50 DBs/FCs.  Then use something like Notepad++ to recursively find/revise the name fields.  Then delete the exported DBs/FCs from the portal project.  Lastly, import the revised exported DBs/FCs into the portal project using Openness Scripter.

With 50, it might be faster to do all that by hand.  With 100, it would definitely improve accuracy and speed using Openness Scripter and an external tool to help modify names (like Notepad++).

We have several hundred blocs (DB, FC, ...) to rename in TIA v15. In S7 it was a simple matter of CTRL-F + replace on the mnemonic table. Is there a similar way in TIA v15 ?

Hi, I have the same request (and probably many other people), actually I'm using TIA v18 and I would like to rename 50 FC: all of them start like "HS_" and I want them to start with "HammerSys_".

Find and replace doesn't work on device tree, either on overview list/details.
