Math operations in CFC Tia Portal

GioCap1972 Joined: 5/22/2023 Last visit: 11/7/2025 Posts: 32 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm trying to familiarize myself with CFC V18 but I can't understand how you can perform mathematical operations. In the default library I only find DIV_DI. In some manual I read that there are families of instructions (like MATH_FP) that allow you to carry out mathematical operations but I have no idea where to find them. On the Siemens website I didn't find references to a possible AddOn library... Does anyone know how to do?

The problem is that i DON'T HAVE those instructions in my library. I tried to install again and searching for library extension but nothing... TIA Portal only presents instructions available for the current PLC, project firmware, and block visible in the working pane (block editor) which depends on the block language (programming language). If the CFC editor is available, the instructions may be something can search the Portal F1-Help for on how to use them. Do you want to add/subtract/multiply/divide? Something else? GioCap1972 Joined: 5/22/2023 Last visit: 11/7/2025 Posts: 32 Rating: (0)	Hi, the image attached in the previous post shows the instruction library (right pane) when the CFC chart editor is open in Tia Portal V18 with CFC editor V18 upd2 addon installed. As you can see there are no ADD_R, DIV_R and many other math instructions.
