Hello! A Step 7 Basic license is sufficient for the task you are looking for, as these are used to program the 1200 PLCs. If you have a CPU 1500 it would have to be the Professional version. Then you need a WinCC Basic license to program the basic panel. Here is the link so you can see all the information related to TIA 18.
