Date and time capturing in PLC315

MANS Posts: 37 Rating: (2)	Hi All, I want to capture the date and time of the PLC under certain conditions. For example, if input (I 0.0) is TRUE (positive edge) then capture the existing date and time from the PLC and then display it in the HMI (WinCC). Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Mans

rit03 Posts: 341 Rating: (24)	You can use SFC1 to read PLC date and Time and then transfer it to DB or M areaand then you can assign a tag to display in HMI. Regards, rit03

dzwilu Posts: 146 Rating: (4)	Hi, When using Date & Time on HMI, it is wise to synchronize the PLC with HMI. Go through the FAQ's and You will find how to do it. Then just simple insert a I/O Field and connect the date&time tag. Just call the capture function only on i0.0 positive impulse. Best regards dzwilu
