Before the operator can use the application he must login to the system. The customer whant that this is done by using their access card they normaly use to access their compagny building. So We need a card reader that can read the information on the card and verify in the WIN CC application, that the operator is permitted to access the application. Hope this idescription is better.

WinCC Runtime Advanced? WinCC Runtime Professional? WinCC Unified PC RT? They all uses different authenticaion models and also different ways of working with global User management. Also the PM Logon Option does not work with all types in the same way Bye Murof
