VoT - Error downloading to device

Hello,

I am using Tiaportal V17 upd 4, with an S7-1500 (6ES7 511-1AK02-0AB0). I created a simple screen in VoT, compiled it, then proceed to download it:

But I get this error ('Error downloading to module "PLC_1")

What could the problem be?

So as a first approximation, to see if we get some more information and we can narrow down the problem, I think it would be good not to filter the message, as well as look at online and diagnostic how is the PLC.

In this forum post a similar error is commented.

And I don't see anything wrong in Diagnostic

1. I had this issue once as well while working remotely on a CPU 1512SP-1 PN.
I am usually working with the PLC in stop mode when updating the plant if the plant does not require to be running, and because of this I could not notice that the PLC switch was actually set on STOP. 
After switching the PLC to RUN mode (even if I kept the PLC in stop mode after an ON/OFF cycle), the VoT downloaded successfully.

2. I also encountered a situation where I was using a 24Mb SD card, and the whole program including the VoT was around 13Mb. While downloading, the VoT was not rewriting itself and it was trying to download on the top of the other one. The solution for this was resetting the PLC memory (MEM Reset) and using "Download and reset program". Take care if you have some parameters that needs to be saved in retain memory in this situation.
