Hi HedeyL, I am working with an S7-1500, model 1517F-3 PN/DP, along with several Unified Comfort panels (MTP700, MTP1200, MTP2200). I am using TIA Portal v19; the firmware of the panels is 19.0.2, and the PLC firmware is 3.1. I am trying to connect each panel to the LSNTP server to synchronize them with the PLC. I have configured a single NTP server on the panels, using the PLC's IP address. However, when I enable the FB-LSNTP block, I encounter error 8601, as shown in the picture below. I am also having trouble finding information on where to locate the connID for the panels. Could you please help me with this? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hi I'm having trouble using this lsntp-fb. In the FB's documentation it is stated that there shall be an "Init" at startup, so I tried to do that at the "enable"-pin without success. I've also tried to set the enable to true, to clock it and so on. What is the correct use of the enable-pin? Also, the connection ID, should it be unique, or set to the relevant connection ID shown in the connections-list? My FB is running, but I can not sync my time to it. I can see both "valid" and "busy" are always true, and there is no diagnostic message. The status seems to stop at 7002, and when a new true is set at the enable-pin it runs one cycle and stops at 7002 again. What am I doing wrong? /JT |

Hi jholos, A few moments ago I managed to synchronize time between two CPUs, one acting as NTP server and the other as NTP client using the LSNTP FB, so maybe I can provide some assistance. I suppose you are trying to synchronize an HMI time with your CPU. Could you please share a screenshot from your block call, parameters etc.? Thank you in advance.
