TIA 19, S7-1200: start shutdown sequence when PLC goes into Stop mode

 If my plc goes in stop mode during running cycle of my process then I want to start my shutdown sequence how can I implement this please reply.

My plc is 1215C dc dc dc

Attached is a super simple example using the system clock to toggle Q0.0 at 10 Hz.

The monitoring system will see the PLC enter stop mode within 200 msec, or as fast as 100 msec.

If you need faster response, you may want to use a combination of a digital output set to ON in the logic.  If it ever goes off, the remote system will know immediately.  Only problem is if the output sticks ON, the remote system will never know the plc stops.

Toggles are better because if the hardware fails, the remote system will see it stopped toggling, either ON or OFF too long.
