Hello ALL, I am looking for confirmation of how overlapping of tags using the 'AT' keyword works. How do you program the overlapping of tags with the keyword "AT" in the STEP 7 (TIA Portal)? I was expecting a change in one tag value to be mirrored in the other one. In my case I don't see that, it's like they are behaving as two separate tags. i.e. I have a byte variable which is overlapped with an 8 bit array. When the byte value is changed it does not show up in the array => I can set the byte value to be 0xFF but the bit array remains at 0x00 Am I missing something here or do I really have to manually copy the contents on one variable to another? Thanks |
