The answer to your question depends on whether you are referring to an analog point or a binary point.

However, the problem you are facing is related to the settings on your point within the PX controller, rather than any issue with Desigo CC.

When modifying the alarm delay from Desigo CC, you are actually modifying the TiMonDvn input pin of the block within the PX controller.

The results you are seeing are correct with regards to how the TiMonDvn setting influences the 'alarm' operation.

To achieve what you are looking for, you can do either one the following:

1. Modify the controller software to create a dedicated alarm point (BVAL or AVAL) along with an on-delay timer and any necessary analog comparator type block to delay the value of the BVAL or AVAL from changing from the normal state to the alarm state.

2. For binary points only, modify the controller software to create a dedicated alarm point (BVAL) that is configured as per what is highlighted in the attached screen dump. You would link your actual source-point Present Value to the new BVAL block's Reference Value pin. The downside to this method though is that the present value of a BVAL object needs to be set to, and will always show as being equal to the 'alarm' value / state
