Compatibility of TIA Portal Versions for HMI Panel Backup and User Administration

Ayman Elotaify in Problem to get access in the SIMATIC panel:

In any case, if you can't access any passworded object, there will be the following reasons for that:

1. May be you have activated the password aging in "Run Time and user adminstration"Menu. and may be you entered wrong password several times greater than or equal to allawable attempts to access the passworded object.
2. May be you forgot the password and you need to change it without changing any thing in the software.

To do it:
 

• Upload complete backup from the TP using Prosave.
• Create a new project using WinCC flexible with the new user adminstration settings and with empty screens. and download it on the TP.
• Use prosave again the make a backup image for "User Management"
  You can select "User Ma\nagement" in backup mask of the prosave program.
• Then download again the orignal image you have uploaded in the first step.
• Then download the backup image of "user management" on the TP.
• Now you have the same software with the new administration settings.

Can I also do this procedure for HMI panels that are running TIA? 

I have a KTP600 basic mono PN with image V11 (TIA11 I guess). I have just uploaded complete backup using Prosave. Since I don't have TIA11 I was thinking to create a new project with user administration in TIA14 (or never, which I have). And then make backup image of the user management. However I have doubts that this will work because full backup will be from V11 and user management backup from V14. Will this work? 

Othervise I'll need to get TIA11 to have same image versions I guess…

Split from Problem to get access in the SIMATIC panel.

I tried this with TIA11 so that the TIA and HMI image matched. And it worked perfectly just like described in original post.
