How do I make my text message appear on the LCD?

Hello, 

I made this program for a sensor command, the code is functional. If someone can help me make the change to the code. I want that when I have a cable or something or the sensor is disconnected, I want the text that I put on the screen to disappear and the message cable, sensor.... disconnected to appear. It ois possibile to do that?

Thanks, that's clear, but I have an I1 sensor. My question is, do I need to set some condition for the I1 sensor, in case it doesn't send a signal within the time limit, to activate LCD 2 (the LCD with the error)

I3 is just for simulating the condition.

I can't tell you anything about the conditions for your case because I don't know when you want to detect a fault in the I1 sensor (whatever that is). Only you know that.

In this case, my condition is that when the cable is disconnected, the sensor is faulty, the message cable detected or sensor faulty should appear.

Does the sensor always has 1 signal? Or only sometimes?
How can I help you if you haven't even made any concrete statements?

Every 1-2 maximum 5 seconds the sensor gives me a signal that it detects an object

And when does the sensor emit this signal?

Or only when a drive is running?

It can't be that difficult to provide a reasonable functional description...

The sensor emits the signal all the time, and certain bodies pass in front of the sensor at a time interval of 1-10 seconds, during which the sensor counts the bodies.
