Patrikk Posts: 131 Rating: (1)	ok tnks for ur reply. do u know if we can update our 5.3 version sp3 to sp4? bcoz we're having some trouble in finding CPU versions in the HW catalog. i don't understand how could a new version of a cpu314 (6es7314-1ag14) could be compatible in v.5.3 and an older one (6es7314-1ag13) is not ??

In my opinion Service pack 3 is latest one for Step 7 v5.3 mexflexx we're having some trouble in finding CPU versions in the HW catalog. i don't understand how could a new version of a cpu314 (6es7314-1ag14) could be compatible in v.5.3 and an older one (6es7314-1ag13) is not ?? When you open Hardware configuration and look in HW catalog, you see the 6ES7314-1AG14?(are you sure?) Please have a look at this link: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/23777593 I guess you already tried an HW update In hardware catalog, which profile have you selected?
