anagnost Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello, I installed LOGOComfort V6.1 on a PC running Linux UBUNTU 8.04 LTS, I think succesfully. BUT when I am running the application, I am getting an empty grey window. Am I missing something here? I have to point out, that the program runs but without displaying anything. Thus, if I give Ctrl-N for a new file, the dialog opens, but when the new file is created I am getting again a new empry grey LOGO Window. Thanks in Advance for yor assistance anagnost

anagnost Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	OK I have the solution now. If you experience such kind of error, you have to: 1. install the latest java (JRE) on your system 2. remove the JRE directory under you LOGOSoft Comfort installation.

Horst123 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi there, another solution might be to deactivate the visual effects in the system settings ( see attached pics ). Should work for Ubuntu versions 9.04, 8,10 8.04. The reason seems to be the effect engine "compiz". Attachment LOGO!_Ubuntu.zip (644 Downloads)
