segan Posts: 60 Rating: (2)	Hi Guys, When i download the corrected Function Block (FB) alone, i find the CPU going into stop mode when the download finishes. I don't know what mistake am doing, so guide me by giving the correct procedure to download program into CPU 319-3PN/DP in both cases when i download a complete program when i download part of a program after making some corrections

Darius Platinum Member Joined: 9/28/2005 Last visit: 12/9/2025 Posts: 2957 Rating: (243)	Hello, If you donwload FB then don't forget to download instance data block (DB) associated to it. FB needs its DB and when you download only FB it can't find its data block so you get programming error OB.

Testermax Posts: 159 Rating: (3)	What Im missing (Im sure its out there but I havent found it yet) is a list over which changes to the program, hardware, which demands a full compile\download to the AS. I know that if you change the interface of a block, this demands a full download. Is there anywhere I can find this overview? I have searched faq, manuals and forum but havent found what Im looking for yet

But to download complete project after simple change in one FB it's not serious. Perhaps there has other reason for this. Did you check in diagnostic buffer "whats happen after download of this FB? Some simple explanations about download and upload you could find in 18652056 But you don't need this. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
