LIMITATION OF USING FBs

Ahmed Ganainy Experienced Member Joined: 8/22/2009 Last visit: 3/23/2025 Posts: 42 Rating: (1)	I have a problem comming from limitations of step 7 software v5.4 i create my own FBs for example FB for motor when i create FB block for water pumps i face a problem that inside this FB(water pumps) i can only use 3 motor FBs and if i use 4 motor FBs i face SF fault when i make download. why ? i try this with many types of defined FB i created the same problem appear if use more than 3 FB inside the main FB (water pumps) ex i can use inside FB1 -------3FB2+3FB3 but i can't use 4FB2 taking in your consideration i try using these function block with seperatre data block and with muilti-instance data block the same system fault when i download to cpu WHY?????????

IBN-Service Posts: 8946 Rating: (1000)	AHMED GANAINY ... WHY????????? Oh dear, there is no problem with a "limitation". First thing: Check the diagnostic for the reason of SF! Give us this information and we will see what the *real* problem is.
