Matope Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi guyz, I am a bit of a novice working with siemens plc's, so would really like some help. i have a network with RLO reult with the address L1.0, am used to either a physical output (Q1.0) or memory locations as output (M1.0), for example.So what does that output (RLO) L1.0 mean? Please help, thanks.

Aristotelis Posts: 147 Rating: (34)	Extending the answer a little: yy1 this instruction works on the local-data (VAR_TEMP) of the block Local data: Temporary data of a code block (OB, FB, FC) is saved to this memory area while the block is being processed. L1.0 means bit 0 of byte 1 (beginning from 0). It is valid only as long as the block is running, otherwise it does not exist. Since you are new, you can check this thread: ALL SIMATC Useful Manuals (Good for beginners on this Forum) The info above is in #10 (S7-300 CPU 31xC and CPU 31x: Technical specifications) Hope this helps.
