Cheetos Posts: 56 Rating: (0)	hello guys i'm trying to make a logic sequence diagram from a PLC program writen in STL the Code is A M0.0 ANM0.1 =M0.2 A M0.0 =M0.1 can any one pleasetell me what is the logic representation of it ?

dchartier Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 1/10/2026 Posts: 12480 Rating: (2722)	Hello Cheetos; I don't have access to Step 7 right now, so I attached a conversion of your logicfrom STL to LAD, done in Paint. Note that STL can have multiple outputs ( = M0.x) in a single network, while LAD and FBD do not support that, so you have to start your conversion by breaking up the logic in small chunks that affect a single output. By the way, is this simply for a test, or are you planning to use this in real projects? I ask because I doubt that the first network logicwill ever be true... Hello, I want to add a small thing to Daniel Chartier. As he said that in STL each network can have more than one output. So you can split the network into muliple networks and each one will end by (=M0.x). Then Press [Ctrl +1] and it will be converted to LAD automatically. Press [Ctrl +2] and it will be converted back to STL automatically. Press [Ctrl +3] and it will be converted to FBD automatically. Regards,

I love your work Daniel(good on you for going out of your way to do this) One small thing though, you can actually have multiple outputs in one Network (see attached pic for more), what you can NOT have is two fully independent rungs in one Network. Cheetos Posts: 56 Rating: (0)	Thank you allguys for your reply and support Dear dchartier i use this logic if i want some sequence to start only once if a condition is statisfied say i want to start a sequence one time onlyif i0.0 is true , this what i do A I0.0 AN M0.0 = M0.1 A I0.0 = M0.0 at the first beginning M0.0 is false and I0.0 ,when I0.0 become true ->M0.1 will be true -> but for this scan sycle as also at this scan cycle M0.0 is true so the sequence started at this scan cycle will not be executed next scan cycle as long as no change in I0.0 or if it falled to zero ,, and if it came back "I0.0" to be high then the sequence start another one time only.
