MAS 1: Micro Application Example

I got the Micro Automation: Closed-Loop Positioning Control with Standard Drives (MAS 1) to compile I'mm trying to learn the library and how to communicate with the HMI device, I've been studying it for about a month now, trending, changing, debuging etc.. and so on, I can't get the drive to work with the jog buttons correctly. Jog slow / Jog fast. It's based on motor torque and velocity. Either one you press fast or slow the drive gets a steady 5Hz output to the inverter signals from AQW0 are always 0.5v DC. Has anyone had experience with this library. I have also set up the inverter as the docs say. maybe the inverter has to go into constant torque application mode or something like that, because the libraries are based on torque and velocity.. Any help thank you.

exigo Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi Ikwipe, I hope you have solved yor problem. For future reference to anyone else with this problem, the drive must be in V/F mode. If you are getting a steady voltage out, it sounds like either the encoder or motor phase is wrong, try swopping A and B phase. Like Alex_RO says, check the status bits on control block!
