Osman_ Posts: 243 Rating: (4)	I'm looking for a ramp program for analog outputs. Like this: InputEnable(bit) InputLow Limit ( integer) InputHigh Limit (integer) InputTotalTime (s5time) OutputOutput (integer) When Enable is 1, Low Limit is 0, High Limit is 15000. it will change value from 0 to 15000 with a ramp. I'll set total time forexample 5 seconds. at the end of 1. second Output'll be 3000, at the end of 5.second it'll be 15000. i tried to make it with ODT timer, but I was not so good :( if enable will stay 1 more than 5 seconds, output will be 15000. Any ideas? I've another question too. I need a program again, i'll set on time s5t#10s off time s5t#13s and M50.0 will be 1 during 10s, and then it'll be 0 during 13seconds. then again 1 and 0 1 and 0.. until plc crashes :) What's the easy way to do that? I think everyone will use answers. Thanks alot

You can create your own FB for further use within your software. Simply you have a linear equation. PQW = A*t while; PQW is the Analog Output value A is the slope (in your case A = 15000-0 / 5 = 3000) t is the time in seconds. And you will see that I have used memory bit M0.5 I have set the memory byte 0 as a clock memory byte in HW config. and then M0.5 will be high once every 1 second. For sure you can enhance your resolution if you make the time t (in milli-sec) and use other memory bit of the clock memory byte. Hope this helps. Attachment linear equation.JPG (375 Downloads)
