elenercom Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi everybody, I'm new in forum and just a beginner in the SIMATIC world. I need to back up programm of S7-300, CPU314C-2DP. I've such a question: Is it possible to save project data of S7-300 to MMC in case programm is password protected? Thank you for your help!

So the MMC contains the programm without Symbols and Comments. So when CPU is working, there is a programm on the MMC!! It's possible to save other files on the MMC: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/15399111 And the complete programm, including Symbols and Comments: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/14053219 But the MMC should be large enough. When you use a password, it's only possible to read or write the MMC when you have password. Best regards, Wizard

Bhairava Posts: 29 Rating: (2)	PLC -> Copy RAM to ROM did the job for me. This copied the working program onto the MMC which I could copy back to the working area by activating the MRES Switch on CPU.
