chetjet Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Iam trying to use a "get" between two s7 400's on the same backplane. I am getting a error code"1". I cannot see how to configure the communications path without using the MPI ports. I do not have a MPI port to use as they are all in use as profibus DP. Can I configure the communications without the MPI? I do have multicomputing enabled and both have a different ID (1 and 2).

In the properties of the S7-connection, you have a combo box that indicates the communication way (interface). Change the default set from “MPI” to “PLC Internal”.

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	Pegaia is right = you can use PLC internal and S7 connection. Both PLC would be in multicomputing mode. I checked USEND & URCV functions - works fine.
