S_W_11 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Question on an STL instruction STL line reads: A T70 When is this line active, on the enable, done or while ACCu is running the listed timer? I have looked through the instruction list and can not find the answer. Thanks for any help

fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 12/19/2025 Posts: 3052 Rating: (1062)	Hello S_W_11 it's impossible to say when "AT 70" will give you an RLO of 1 asit all depends on the type of Timer used (e.g. if T70 is started as an On delay Timer, it will give you a RLO of 1 when the time has expired, if T70 is started as an Off delay Timerit will give you a RLO of 1 as soon as the Timer start condition becomes trueetc.). I suggest you do the following: Right click T70, select "Go To Location",go to the locationin the program where the T70 is started and use <F1> to get the context sensitive help on it. I hope this helps

S_W_11 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Thanks, your information answered my question. I was mostly concerned with it's relationship to the FE of the Timer which from your answer sounds like it is more about the relationship between type and Accu value. That makes sense to me. I am not a programmer and have mostly LAD experience but have recenly started to deal with many italian machines at a new plant were I am an industrial Electrician and they mostly use STL in italian with out symbols or notations.
