Simotion D -Sinamics integrated Offline Error

viralpatel Posts: 523 Rating: (32)	Dear ChristoPhD, i m using Simotion D425 following Error is comming any time whether axis is standstill/or rotating 1> sinamics integrated offline So to solve this problem i have to make power on/off of simotion CPU 1 or 2 time. mostly this error comes when axis is standstill even logic part is not included just axis are configured. hardware includes simotion D425,Smart line module,double motor module. thanks,( in advance for reply) Viral patel

DenisMor Posts: 344 Rating: (50)	What is the CPU utilization (under Device Diagnostics)? If it is close or above 70 percent, longer servo, IPO cycles are needed to allow for Scout connection and routing to Sinamics. Is this a direct connection to Simotion or through network or remote through VPN/dial up? Network quality could be an issue. Also what if you try a different PG to make sure it is not a program installation problem.

Its also D425 and normally during first download after power On, this error was coming. Normally I make power on-off again or download 2-3 times and then its working... Regards Devesh

DenisMor Posts: 344 Rating: (50)	Are you connecting directly to the controller on the Ethernetor through a switch, VPN? Try a direct connection. Is there a possiblity to try a connection via Profibus interface?

So,if i am changing programmig port to profibus instead of ethernet .Is there any relation withinternal comm. of sinamics & D425? i think sinamics integrated communicate withD425 by profibus internally. viral patel

DenisMor Posts: 344 Rating: (50)	Simotion and Sinamics_Integrated do communicate over internal Profibus. Problems with communications to the Simotion controller can cause communication timeout to Sinamics_Integrated: that is why I am curious if a differect method of communication will produce a different result. At this point this is either a hardware problem with the Simotion controller or a communication/routing problem of some sort. From everything you tried, starting to look like a hardware problem. Just a double check: is routing setup in NetPro (PG/PC station configured with interface selected)? What is the firmware of the Simotion controller? Version of Scout? If Profibus communications to Sinamics_Integrated are intermittent, then it is likely a hardware problem with the controller.
