atos Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	Hi! I'm interested in Profibus communication. I want to test communication with 2 CPU31x-2DP as master - slave. I've read the thread in this forum but i can't config them well. Can anyone tell me how to config hardware and network connection in details? Thanks !

Chapter '3.7 Intelligent DP Slaves' in the Configuring Hardware and Communication Connections with STEP 7 manual describes how to configure intelligent slaves. The application Direct Data Exchange between separate PROFIBUS DP Systems via DP Communication provides a deeper look into the function mechanisms of the DP communication as well as a STEP 7 project with a hardware configuration you could use as an example.
