0BA7 max in- ouput configuration

Wim Joos Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello, Currently I'm running 5 logo!'s (0BA6) with each a DM16 and DM8 extention-module in my home. So 20DI's and 16 DO's on each logo (5X) I read about the new Logo! 0BA7 and since it can communicate with up to 8 other logo's I thought it would be my answer to have only ONE logo-program in the master and the others acting as slaves. And I would even like to expand my automated home,... Can each (of max 8) 0BA7 logo in a master-slave configuration have DM 16 and DM8 extention modules? I read in the 0BA7 brochure that : "The theoretical degree of expansion of a LOGO! configuration is thus 88 DI, 80 DO, 64 AI, and 18 AO". On the other hand the same brochure mentions: "Of course, the basic devices that are being used as slaves can be equipped with the proven expansion modules up to the maximum process image". So my 'easy' question is can I run five (or even eight) 0BA7's with each a DM16 and DM8 extention-module in a master-slave configuration ???

Mc Muffin Posts: 495 Rating: (58)	You can use 4 LOGO! 0BA7 with DM16 and DM8. That´s because one LOGO! 0BA7 with DM16 and DM8 has 20 DI. 4*20DI=80DI and the max. DIs are 88. Regards
