Hello James Mckenna that is correct, a so called "fully qualified DB access" (e.g. T DB5.DBD 14) will open the DB first via the "DB1" register and then access thevariable in the open DB and THIS FAQ has the offcial statement in it. In relation to thissubject, you may also find the follwoing FAQ useful : What is the difference between an instance data block and a global data block and how does a CALL call influence the DB register? I hope this helps |
