Asset ID in Hardware Configuration of STEP 7

(like MLFB, Serial No, Plant ID, Loc ID, Installation Date) - DI - DO - AI - AO

With S7-PLCSIM you can monitor the variables from DI, DO, AI and AO. The Asset ID is useful for the identification, if you have changed the equipment for Maintenance. The MLFB is the order number for identification of the modul and for the power range. With best regards Cicero

I need to know what I&M data will be available in a DI module, DO module, AI module and AO module. What will happen (in Maintenance Station) if a device is changed offline (powered off state)?

Hi Well for the I & M data will be available for all the DI, DO, AI and AO modules. If a module is removed or failed we can have an alarm, it is upto the user to configure, if your system is a PCS7 system then the asset mon is possible as we have ready made blocks for that (The asset managment software is additional option as is charged extra).
